Important Announcement from Libby Public Schools
In the Event of a Power Outage @ Schools
A High Wind Warning has been issued for tonight -March 11, 2026, which may impact bus routes and electrical service throughout the area.
The following criteria will guide decisions regarding school operations:
• If Libby Middle/High School (LMHS) or Libby Elementary School (LES) does not have power, school will be canceled. Students will not be brought into a building without electricity.
• If the power outage is expected to be short-lived, a two-hour delay may be implemented.
• Any schedule changes will be announced shortly after 5:00 AM tomorrow morning, as circumstances require and allow.
All updates and decisions will be communicated via ParentSquare, Facebook, and posted on the school website.
