The objective of psychology is to introduce the student to the huge field of psychology and to help them understand their role in the world of biological, social, and environmental psychology. This course will offer students an opportunity to learn more about themselves in areas of personality, learning, growth and development, adjustment, and mental illness. Students will have an understanding of how personality is formed and changed, understand theories of learning and methods for efficient studying, and become aware of problems and causes of mental illness.
