About this course
Full Year: 1 Credit
Grade Level: 11-12
Prerequisite(s): Geometry
This course consists of the study of relations and functions. Students discuss, represent, and solve increasingly sophisticated real-world problems using algebraic techniques incorporating technology. Students will also study the properties of functions, the algebra of functions, problem solving, and mathematical models. Probability, linear, quadratic variations, and exponential functions are studied as well. Communication of the problem solving skills used is an important part of this course.
