Prerequisite(s): Welding I and II

Welding Theory Practical – Introductory college course presenting the care and use of arc and oxy-fuel welding equipment, regulators, torches, cylinders, power sources, electrodes, characteristics of operation, welding of mild steel and special application weld procedures.  Various techniques of welding mild steel and medium steel will be studied.  Mechanical properties of metals and types of joints are also presented. (LCC 4 credits)
