Prerequisite(s): Car Care, Algebra & Physical Science
A beginning course for students who wish to learn automotive systems and services. Auto units such as engine systems, braking systems, suspension systems, Fuel injection, Electrical systems, repair techniques, and vehicle maintenance will be studied. Students will have an opportunity to work on an automobile. Students will work in groups and will be allowed one auto stall per group. Approximately 30% of class time will be devoted to theory. Students are to provide work clothes.
