**Honors Course
The advanced English section will present the same material as the standard section only on a greatly intensified level. The class is a Pre-AP course and is suggested as a prerequisite for those who intend to take AP Language and Composition as sophomores. Because of the more intensive level of study, the course will be awarded honor points. Students who choose to take this course must be willing to put forth the extra effort and time that an intensified course requires.
