Class Rings and Graduation Caps/Gowns Etc
Jostens’ visit to LHS has been rescheduled for October 18th. Our Jostens Reps will meet with Sophomores and Seniors separately during Academic Time. They will discuss class rings with Sophomores, and Graduation caps, gowns, announcements and other fun Class of 22′ gear with Seniors. Sophomores and Seniors will be sent home with order info and packets. Below is some important information for Seniors:
What do I need to wear for Graduation?
Seniors are required to have the correct cap, gown, tassel, and stole (blue for females, gold for males) to participate in the graduation ceremony. Jostens has payment plan options available to those who prefer to pay over the months leading up to graduation. LHS also has a limited stock of extra caps, gowns, etc. for students to borrow for graduation if they prefer. If a Senior wishes to borrow the items needed for graduation, they must meet with Ms. Liz in the office as soon as possible to see if we have the right size for them and to reserve the items needed. If you know someone in your family or a friend who has items you can borrow for graduation, let Ms. Liz know. Otherwise, if we see you haven’t ordered from Jostens or reserved items to borrow from LHS, we will reach out to you throughout the year to find out what your plan is for graduation.
When and where will Jostens ship my order?
Any fun “Class of 2022” items and graduation announcements students order will be shipped to LHS and handed out to students typically during late fall/winter.
Graduation caps, gowns, tassels and stoles are different. They will be shipped to LHS in the Spring time before graduation.
When will Cap and Gown sets be handed out?
The LHS Office will hand out caps, gowns, tassels and stoles that students ordered from Jostens during Senior Checkout, which takes place on Seniors’ last day of school, May 25th. However, before Seniors can pick up their Cap and Gown sets, they must have fully paid off their Jostens account, as well as cleared any fines/fees in their LHS student account, or worked out a plan with Ms. Rogers.
When is Graduation?
Graduation will take place on Sunday, May 29, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in the LHS Gymnasium.
