Students interested in an internship must think ahead! Applications are due in the spring of your junior year but some internships require pre-requisite classes so be sure to plan ahead.

Seniors taking an internship spend two periods a day at their work site for one semester. They earn high school credit for these two periods. Schedules are flexible but some internship work sites prefer interns at certain times of day to get the most out of their experience.

The Application Process

Applications are open 3/19/18-4/10/18

Intern selection is done by the host sites and students will have to participate in an interview process if their application is approved. For students filling out applications, please type them. Certain businesses want you to hand write your application so READ THE APPLICATION CAREFULLY. You can open the PDF applications below using Nitro Reader (free download) to type onto it directly. REMEMBER to turn in 2 teacher recommendation forms, a cover letter, and a resume in addition to your application.Print out your application and turn it into Mrs. Rewerts in the GEAR UP Office.

Feel free to contact Mrs. Rewerts at any time with questions.
